My dog runs off! What can I do?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Authorization. I have had 15 years of experience with dogs but there is a problem I can 't. settlement My rat terrier / chihuahua run off all the time. I live in 2 acres and took to walking all the time in advance but I would get a lead to follow. Every time she leaves or is not a step she bolted for the horse pasture and have the horses and their droppings or eates operations for the barrel of chicken. If she is in the mail she pulls grass horse or chicken and strangled. She walks very well if we refuse to face the chickens and horses. I thought about it to obedience classes but I'm having a difficulty to find any nearby and I have found cost an arm and a leg. Is there a way to teach without being tilted in a post on my own?

How to train a Dog.Tip 1 – Heel walking Shorten your dog 's lead so the lead is short enough for your dog to walk along side you walk quietly forward. Make sure you walk in a straight line and repeat the word 'heel' in a firm tone of voice. Make sure your dog is trying to compete with or back. Repeat this over the course of practice of the week and keep – your dog must master it quickly if you are absolutely constant. Tip 2  – teaching your dog to Sit. Choose a place that has no distractions such as noise, other dogs or family members. You need your dog to perform its attention on you and the process of training. Do not start to teach your dog to sit until he has mastered walking bow. Apply a firm but gentle pressure on your dog 's just above the pelvis and repeats the sense of the word a strong authoritative voice. When you use the command 'sit' make sure you use a turnover of command of the hand with the verbal command. The reason for this is that your dog will learn and understand verbal command only if accompanied with a physical gesture. Alabanza. Praise and praise again – but do so immediately after your dog has done something right – don 't leave him 5 minutes. 5 Tips For Lead Training Your Dog

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Any dog owner knows it is difficult to walk a dog that pulls in the mail or simply refuse to walk. While the basic training for any breed of dog should involve the training of lead, particularly the larger breeds need to learn this as puppies. There 's nothing more unpleasant than trying to get his German shepherd or sturdy for a ride in the afternoon and teniéndolos lead the fight to the end. With that in mind, here are five tips to make the lead that trains its young people a little easier dog 1. Start. It 's far easier to start with training the dog that he is teaching an older dog not to pull in the mail. While it is not impossible, it 's better to start with a young dog Hasn' t yet caught cuaesquiera bad habits. You can easily get used to lead a young boy and he is happy to treat it with respect for the remains of life, but the trick is not to wait too long. Start your dog off with a necklace and then progresses to the mail and you 'll find that the whole process is far easier for both you and your dog. This may be one of the first methods of dog training that you use.2. Be gentle. This is not a time to be rough. If you are working with a puppy or an adult dog, obedience is not going to happen with the intimidation of his dog. That 's why it' s important not to use the choke chain on your dog while leading the training, as this will give you the wrong idea about the leads. The training of the dog should be done gently, with respect for its tusk, and you 'll find it responds better.3. Go slowly. There 's no need to jump on walking down the street with his dog. Training can be done slowly and be much smoother for him. For example, start with the collar only at first. Once the dog is used to this, you can progress to tie the lead. Try doing this while the dog is being fed so I 'll associate it with something good. Then, once he 's used to having something attached to the collar, you can start to pick it up. Don 't attack and you' ll be the fine.4. Pinch of bad habits in the outbreak. It 's important not to let go of the dog training the wrong way. If your dog is starting to pull in the lead, you 'll need to ensure you get that little problem right away. A "firm no" and a little hitch in the mail when it is mostly used constantly, but you 'll have the far more successful in rewarding correct behavior. Which brings us to our next tip. 5. Praise and reward. Dogs want to please their people and their will be no exception. Even some words of praise go a long way toward making your dog's behavior to continue. The great thing about this method of dog training is that you can 't go wrong! While you are with the reward or praise your dog quickly learn the new behavior … in this case, walking on a breakthrough. There are many advantages to train your dog to use a post and not to shoot. For one, you 'll be able to enjoy the leaves with your dog and your canine friend. It 's also more secure, as any kind of dog obedience will teach you, since you don' t need to worry about your dog getting loose and running out into the street when he 's happy to walk beside you.
